Chinese Course Offerings (LSP)

 

Chinese for Health Care Professionals is a non-credit 8-week course offered in Fall 2023 by the Yale Center for Language Study.  This course will meet two times a week on Zoom.  The course site is located in Canvas.

 

 

Also, a special optional review/make-up course will be held at the end of each course (normally prior to the administration of the Final Project) which will allow students to make-up one excused absence.

 

The course fee is $150 (includes a non-refundable registration fee of $75) for students enrolled in a participating Yale Department or Program.  The course fee for students not enrolled at Yale is $200, (includes a non-refundable registration fee of $75) payable to the Yale University prior the start of the first class.

 

You will be refunded the course fee (minus the non-refundable registration fee of $75) if you drop within the first week. Should you drop after the first week, you (or your Program/School) will be responsible for the full course fee.

 

The final component of your registration involves a brief placement test meant to gauge your current abilities. The placement test, will ideally take no longer than 20 minutes of your time. Registration is now closed.
