Mission

The Yale Center for Language Study supports and promotes the study of language and culture by fostering a community of practice for language instructors and teaching fellows and by offering diverse language programs across the university. The CLS is committed to innovation and excellence in language education, informed by current research, and to lifelong learning, both inside and beyond the classroom.
