SLA Certificate–Observation of your language class
Three observations of your language class
The process of being observed helps teachers in their ability to understand themselves as teachers and to make productive changes to the way they present material, lead discussion, and interact with students.
Three occasions of being observed are required (at least one by a senior language instructor in your department, one by a peer, and one additional observation of your choice).
For each observation, provide:
- Date of observation
- Course number, department, & title
- Write-up or letter from the person who observed you. Observers may use the form we provide for class observations or use it as a guideline to write a narrative reflection on the class.
