The Center for Language Study is conducting a workshop for the World CLASS (World Culture and Language after School Studies) high school program instructors on March 6th, 2019 from 5-6 PM in room 102 at Luce Hall.
This workshop will focus on alternative assessment methods to inform teaching practices to benefit students’ learning experience. Mary Jo Lubrano, Associate Director, CLS, will discuss “assessment methods for and as learning” and how to assess language in the three modes of communication. The workshop will include classroom activities and will demonstrate the resources of the CLS available to language teachers.
