Workshop for Language Lectors: Promotions and Leaves

In collaboration with the Language Study Committee, the CLS is offering an informal workshop for language faculty who might be considered for promotion to Senior Lector I or II or who are interested in applying for a Professional Development Leave. During the workshop, we will review the “Qualifications for appointment and promotion to the ranks of Lector, Senior Lector I and Senior Lector II”, the “Procedures for the Hire, Reappointment, Promotion and Non-Renewal of Lectors and Senior Lectors I and II”, and the Guidelines for Professional Development Leave applications. John Mangan, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, will discuss the process and answer questions.
