The courses are designed for professional and graduate school students (FES, SOM, etc.) with an interest in learning Brazilian Portuguese for future endeavors related to a broad range of environmental issues and topics. Classes are scheduled to meet twice a week in the evenings.

The registration link for Portuguese for Special Purposes is closed.  These courses began the week of September 27and ran for 16 classes, ending the first week of December.  They took place in the evenings, between 5:30 and 8:15.
