Brown Bag Series - Speaker: Ame Cividanes

Ame Cividanes (Director of Language Programs for Spanish and Portuguese and Senior Lector of Spanish) will discuss the evolution of research and impact projects she has conducted in study abroad programs. She will describe the many projects she has done over the years to foster intercultural connections in addition to focusing on two of her most recent projects—encouraging student-host family engagement and using the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence Mood Meter to track students’ emotional ups and downs in a short-term summer immersion program.
